My parents immigrated from Italy in the mid 1960’s. I learned young what it meant to work hard, save and build the “Canadian” dream. My parents entered Canada with a loaf of bread and $20, as well as three rambunctious boys under the age of 6. After their first 2 years, their hard work had paid off and was able to provide their big family with a stable life in their own home.

I now reside in Georgetown, Ontario with my husband and two young daughters. Having been a stay-at-home mom for so many years I know how hard it is for a single income family to get a mortgage in this housing market, and the importance of providing my family with a stable home.
